Merrill serves as Managing Member and President of Logistic Innovations. She is highly task-oriented and believes that having an established process that works is paramount. This, coupled with over 25 years of experience counseling companies on design, execution, and management of all meeting services and solutions, has allowed her to stand out as an unparalleled strategist and influential presence in the meeting planning industry.
The Logistic Innovations team is more than an outsourced meeting vendor; they are a trusted advisor and business partner. That’s why Merrill personally oversees all client relationships and assignments. She always puts business value and loyalty for her clients first.
This attitude of putting people first extends to why Merrill developed Logistic Innovations in the first place. She wanted to offer her team an environment that allows a work/life balance and flexibility. This makes Logistic Innovations highly productive compared to other companies in the same industry.
Merrill’s award winning, proprietary “Meeting Services Methodology” and superior programs have been acknowledged in many industry publications. She is credited with creating “Meeting in a Box,” which has been featured in Best Events Magazine. In addition, Merrill has designed an exclusive compliance curriculum, which adheres to her clients’ strict business rules and reporting guidelines and the patent pending COMPLY App – a unique, online registration for events that adheres with the “Sunshine Act” and is exclusive to Logistic Innovations.
Merrill is also a published author with her piece, “The Right Stuff,” appearing in Pharmaceutical Executive’s Pharma Meetings (February 2003). She has been honored by her peers in the industry with a 2003 Rising Star Award from the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association
Event planning was natural to Merrill from early on in her life, tracing back to her high school years where she was a member of the prom committee and worked for her town’s recreation center. At Rutgers, she was accepted into their work program, where she worked as an event planner, giving her an excellent foundation of real-world experience. Today, she is involved in her town’s school as a PTO volunteer coordinating school events; she has 10 years of tenure as reigning class mom, and is playfully referred to as “the party mom.”
In addition to her dedication to event planning, Merrill is a member of the Board of Directors for her home town’s non-profit Sports Association, is the Commissioner of Softball, and coaches four softball teams (which are also sponsored by Logistic Innovations). Despite all of her commitments Merrill never stresses…ever. She doesn’t let anything slow her down; she just gets it all done and done right. That’s a level of confidence and leadership you want on your team.
Jennifer brings over 20 years experience in the Meeting Planning industry. Jennifer has been an invaluable asset to the Logistic Innovations’ in-house team, LOGIC Network planners, MIAB team, and Logistic Innovations’ clients. She has the unique ability to recognize and develop potential in those around her.
Jennifer is probably one of the most organized and detail-oriented people you’ll meet; just ask her colleagues. Handling all of the day to day operations at Logistic Innovations while ensuring all projects are set up and executed correctly requires a decisive, can-do attitude.
Her passion for innovative new technologies and product development – combined with her unrivaled attention to the smallest details – sets her apart in the meeting planning industry. She manages all of the technology involved with the high-volume Speakers Bureau Series, large scale meetings and events, The LOGIC Network, and MIAB distribution.

Prior to her tenure at Logistic Innovations, Jennifer was the Director of Meeting Services at Ventiv Health Communications in Stamford, CT. She honed her extensive meeting management experience specifically with program development, customized planning, and oversaw all staffing, budget, and direct client relationships. Jennifer started her career at Stratis KPR and Impact Communications respectively, both located in NYC, where she executed meeting planning and strategic development for a variety of well known brand clients.
While Jennifer demands perfection from herself and her staff, she’s a great listener and has a “door is always open” policy!
Clarissa has all of the characteristics needed in the high stress, fast-paced world of Meeting and Event planning and management. She’s quick thinking and extremely organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Plus she’s calm. Even in a crisis. That calmness stems from the confidence of experience; Clarissa has been in the event planning business since 2001 when she started as an event planner.
Today, as Director of Meeting Services, Clarissa is the day-to-day contact for Logistic Innovations’ clients. She leads all aspects of client relationships including all logistics, vendor negotiations, contracting, speaker interactions, and high-volume Speaker Bureau Series.
Clarissa also directs meeting professionals who are responsible for planning live promotional programs, speaker education programs, speaker training meetings, and advisory boards.
As far a personality goes, Clarissa has a great sense of humor with a healthy dose of sarcasm thrown in for good measure! While she works hard–often late into the night–she also lives life to the fullest.
People who have worked with or know Jodi describe her as organized, detail oriented, friendly and great with people, and someone who simply knows her stuff. And it’s obvious why. These qualities allowed her to thrive as a meeting planner for nearly 20 years, and currently, as a skilled relationship builder at Logistic Innovations, where her main role is finding new clients and keeping current ones always coming back. Her rule as far as sales goes is not to be out there with a hard sell, but to have a good and appropriate follow up.
Jodi just knows how to talk to people, something that may sound easy on the surface, but does not come naturally to many, especially in a sales environment. She knows the key is not always using a “pitch” or slide deck to introduce all Logistic Innovations has to offer, but in a more conversational approach where people can feel comfortable. Jodi believes trust is the key, and you don’t get that without being able to relate to and understand what people really want.
Jodi’s relationship with Logistic Innovations is unique, in that, not only has she been part of the team since May 2013, but she has also been one of their clients, giving her an objective and well-versed view of how the company does business. Before joining Logistic Innovations, Jodi was Vice President of Client Services at The Falk Group, where she was responsible for the overall management of programs, with a focus on budget development, logistical management, and project implementation. It was here that Jodi hired Logistic Innovations to help the Falk team execute hundreds of successful dinner meetings each year for their large Pharmaceutical clients.
Prior to joining The Falk Group, Jodi was VP, Director of Meeting Services at Falk Communications Inc. /Healthworld Communications Group. At both, Jodi built successful Meeting Services Departments, where her team excelled, producing hundreds of meetings, events, and incentive trips each year.
At Chemical Week Magazine, Jodi planned meetings and promoted sponsorship sales throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and Latin America for executives in the chemical industry. Prior to that, Jodi was a Conference Coordinator that handled specialty conferences and trade shows at the American Society of Civil Engineers. She was also a member of MPI (Meeting Professionals International) for many years. She possesses an extensive knowledge of hotels both domestically and internationally.
Jodi is a Founding Board Member of The Kellner Pediatric Liver Foundation, an organization started 13 years ago by her best friend, because her son needed a liver transplant when he was 6 months old. Jodi faced a similar experience a few years ago when her mother needed two liver transplants, so it’s something very near and dear to her heart.
Stephanie heads up the Event Technology team out of our Tampa office. This team is responsible for executing the Meeting in a Box and Gig A Box products as well as all audio visual solutions which ship to on-site planners and technicians for events across the country. Stephanie oversees all process and procedures required to successfully execute and support the AV on-site for these events. As a person who flourishes in situations that rely on rules and structure, she is exceptional at ensuring everything goes smoothly and as planned. Furthermore, Stephanie’s team is ultimately responsible to provide the on-call support to the on-site planners and technicians for all events that utilize their product.
A member of the Logistic Innovations team since its inception, Stephanie excels at figuring out logical processes from beginning to end, as well as testing and executing them. So it’s no wonder that during her time at Logistic Innovations, she has successfully structured processes and procedures that when followed by the Logistic Innovations staff as well as the recipients, consistently produces successful audio visual supported events.
Stephanie describes herself as ethical and dependable to a fault. She considers the effect she has on others as the most valuable currency she can offer, and therefore strives to do her best at all times. Her biggest goal is to be respected for her work and integrity, two things which have not gone unnoticed by the EVP of Field Operations at Freeman Audio Visual, Inc., who testifies:
Stephanie has proven to be a very dedicated and formidable manager that we depended heavily upon to lead the segment of business she was responsible for. Her commitment to serving the customer and representing our company professionally were both outstanding.
Stephanie also enjoys giving back to her community by volunteering at a local hospital, working weekends as well as holidays. In addition, she lives in a neighborhood with many senior adults and delivers the newspaper to her neighbors’ doors and assures that they are remembered during the holiday seasons. Stephanie also lines their streets with flags on July 4th and Veterans Day.
